AUSTRIA’S CENTRAL EVENT FOR CLIMATE-NEUTRAL RENOVATION
RENOWAVE.AT IMPACT DAYS on 17th and 18 th October 2023 are the most important event in Austria in the field of climate-neutral renovation. We bring together experts, entrepreneurs and housing associations to promote the “great transformation”.
Through the research and developments of the last decades, it is already possible for us to build the cities of the future. In the face of the aspired climate neutrality by 2050, the real challenge for the construction industry is the renovation of the building stock.
We want to face this challenge together with national and international experts within the framework of the Impact Days. New and innovative solutions will be presented through exciting presentations and discussions.

from the poudrette factory…
In 1872, the Poudrette factory was built on the site next to the river Mur, including a free-standing chimney, administrative building and half-timbered hall. In 1917, the multi-storey extraction hall was added. The factory was closed down in the 1920s.

In 1942 it was bought back for the army, but was severely damaged by bombing in 1945, and in 1946 became a soap factory, where production continued until 1998. In the summer of 2001, the Kovac Group revitalized the listed building and turned it into today’s event center in 2003.
