9.04. and 12.04. Workshop "Analyzing building stock and performance with satellite data and AI - estimating the energy efficiency of buildings with artificial intelligence"
As part of the “BEE.AI – Building Energy-efficiency Estimation with Artificial Intelligence” project, the European Space Agency is working with RENOWAVE.AT to draw up a list of requirements to check whether the current data is sufficient to carry out an inventory analysis.
Various satellite data is used to monitor the energy efficiency of buildings. These play a decisive role in analyzing and improving building efficiency. ESA experts argue that this data facilitates the monitoring of energy efficiency and allows the identification of buildings with a high need for renovation. The energy optimization of buildings is a central component of the energy transition and requires a holistic view of energy consumption in the building sector.
In two workshops with Vienna, Italy and Denmark, the usability and requirements for users in Europe will be analyzed:
