The renovation wave is now underway. We now need uncomplicated solutions that can be implemented quickly and we see great potential here in the wood industry and in the processing companies.

Serial renovation is now positioned on the market in Germany as “Energiesprong”. In Austria, there is also great potential to improve the thermal performance of at least part of the buildings through serial renovation. The integration of windows, sun protection and, if necessary, also TGA components increases the advantages of serial systems, such as renovation in occupied condition. This requires competent partners in the industry and the processing companies who have expertise in serial, highly insulating construction systems. The innovation lab RENOWAVE.AT reports on the Energiesprong principle and explores the question of how housing cooperatives, businesses and manufacturers can jointly generate a market here.
