In Vienna’s 10th district, the “Zukunftsanker” is being built on the site of the traditional Anker bread factory: a climate campus and competence center for all companies, professional groups and stakeholders involved in climate protection, sustainability, renewable energies and circular economy.

The goal is to develop a CO₂-neutral and urban neighborhood through a combination of preservation of the historic building stock and redensification. Experts and interested laypersons will discuss the topic. The innovation laboratory RENOWAVE.AT for climate-neutral renovations would like to generate “knowledge for and with everyone” with this event – based on the concrete occasion “Future Anchor” it is necessary to consider: How can climate neutrality as a new self-image flow into the further development of the stock?
